Taking precision to heart.

Ivy Biomedical Systems, Inc. is an industry leading medical device manufacturer focused on cardiac and respiratory gating solutions for diagnostic Nuclear Medicine (NM), Molecular Imaging (MI), Computed Tomography (CT), and Magnetic Resonance (MR) imaging technologies. Ivy Biomedical has been perfecting the science of precision R-wave synchronization since 1986.

With over 60,000 trigger monitors and modules sold to date, Ivy Biomedical is the preferred and established worldwide leader for cardiac gating solutions. Our current Model 7000 Series monitors are Ivy Biomedical’s 5th generation of cardiac trigger monitors for NM/MI and CT imaging, which continue to set the standard for precision triggering applications worldwide. This same high performance design and technology is incorporated into our CTM Series and PAM Series integrated module solutions.

Our primary OEM partners include GE Healthcare, Hitachi Medical Corp., Philips Healthcare, Siemens Medical Systems, and Toshiba Medical Systems. In addition, Ivy Biomedical’s trigger monitors and modules are used by several other OEMs across several modalities including clinical diagnostic imaging (NM/MI, CT, MR), interventional medicine (ablation, lithotripsy), and other applications.

We are also well versed in product globalization, offering multiple languages, country specific labeling, and assistance for our OEM partners with product registrations in over 180 countries worldwide.

The founders of Ivy Biomedical had been together since the mid-1960s, and had previously established two other successful medical device companies: Corometrics (now part of GE Healthcare) and Novametrix (now part of the Respironics/Philips group). Ivy Biomedical, launched in 1984 with an ECG monitor used for the NASA Space Shuttle Discovery astronauts, became their 3rd successful venture.

Ivy Biomedical Systems is located in Branford, Connecticut. All of our products are proudly designed, developed and manufactured in the USA.
